An Indiana judge will decide by next month whether David Camm should be allowed out of jail while he awaits a third trial.
Camm is the former state trooper accused of murdering his wife and two children in Floyd County 12 years ago. Two previous convictions were overturned by the courts. His third trial is scheduled for next summer.
At a hearing Monday in Spencer County, a judge told attorneys he will issue a ruling by mid-August on whether to allow bail for Camm. The defense also requested the trial be held in a county north of Indianapolis.
Another hearing is scheduled for August 13th.
