Two motorcycle crashes killed two men about two hours apart late Thursday and early Friday.

The first crash happened near 12th and Meridian St.  Metro police said the driver of an older sedan hit the biker and left the scene.

The second crash happened on the southeast side at Southeastern and Sheridan Avenues, just west of 465.  The rider died after losing control of the bike.  He was not wearing a helmet.

The names of the victims were not immediately released.
