The Spokane, Washington "Spokesman Review" reports Indy's departing Public Safety Director Frank Straub is one of four finalists for chief of police in Spokane. 

The newspaper says Mayor David Condon has scheduled interviews with the finalists a week from today.  Condon tells the Spokesman Review the city is on track to name a new chief by next month. 

Straub's resignation in Indianapolis is effective August first.
