State conservation officers have recovered a safe taken in a burglary last month at the Lakeshore Resort in Franklin County.  It was found at the bottom of the Brookville Reservoir--under 56 feet of water.  

Surveillance video caught the burglar in the act, leading to the arrest of a suspect.  Sheriff's investigators say they got a confession from that suspect.  

Conservation officers deployed a remote operated vehicle--an ROV like the device used to search for the wreckage of the Titanic.  The safe was located and divers entered the water to recover it.
