Five people were injured Wednesday in a crash on State Road 47 near Sheridan in Hamilton County.

Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy Vicky Dunbar says three of the victims suffered serious injuries. Three medical helicopters were called to scene to transport those three to the hospital. Their exact conditions are not known at this time.

The crash involved three vehicles. RTV6 reports two of the vehicles may have collided head-on. No other details have been released.
