NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series points leader is ready to race in Indianapolis.
Listen:
Matt Kenseth is a two-time Daytona 500 winner but has never picked up a win at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Kenseth says he'd like to change that. "It's something I always look forward to. It's our second biggest race of the year. If there's one race that I could win, this would be the one that I'd want to win someday before you're done racing so hopefully we'll have a shot at it. We've ran really well here in the past. We've just never been able to quite get the win."
Kenseth says consistency within his team has helped him with his success this season. However, Kenseth will be leaving his team at the end of the season. He says there are no hard feelings within the team and they will continue to race hard until the end of the year.
Kenseth currently stands at the top of the points race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, just 16 points ahead of Dale Earnhardt, Jr.. Kenseth will start 10th in this year's Curtiss Shaver 400 at the Brickyard.
