A 17-member Chinese trade delegation is wrapping up a weeklong visit to Indiana.
Listen:
Representatives from 10 of China's 33 provinces met with Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman at the statehouse, a month after Skillman's return from leading her own trade mission to China. The delegation also met with Purdue officials, and visited Lafayette and Columbus.
Yan Hua with China's Ministry of Commerce says her Investment Promotion Agency will assess potential partnerships when she returns to Beijing.
Yan says the agency has been interested in building state-to-province ties. Indiana already has a sister-province relationship with the coastal province of Zhejiang.
