The Indiana State Fair is open for business.
Listen:
The Year of the Dairy Cow kicked off with Governor and Mrs. Daniels, Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman, and the State Fair queen donning aprons to serve up free milkshakes outside the fair's dairy bar.
Indiana Dairy Association general manager Deb Osza says the fair's a chance to remind Hoosiers where their milk and milk products come from.
The fair runs two-and-a-half weeks, closing August 19.
