He grew up in a traditional Southern home with a traditional Southern kitchen, complete with meals made by his now-famous Mom and some of their fattening ingredients.  Now, Bobby Deen is spreading a healthy message with his new Cooking Channel show "Not My Mama's Meals", and also through a diabetes awareness campaign - Paula Deen disclosed recently that she has Type 2 diabetes.
