The Marion County Prosecutor's Office is still screening the case of a grandmother arrested for leaving her 10-year old grandchild in a car Monday while she shopped.
68-year old Willa Crawley of Indianapolis was arrested for neglect of a dependant after police were called to Lafayette Square Mall after someone reported seeing the child in the backseat of a running vehicle.
Police found the child sleeping in the vehicle with the air conditioner running. CPS took custody of the boy. Police say the boy was unattended for about 50 minutes.
