A Carmel teen faces various charges for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl at a party in early July.

Charles Bracken, 19, is accused of the rape of the girl who, according to witnesses, became "very intoxicated" at the party at a Carmel Woods apartment.

Officials believe Bracken encouraged the victim to drink at a party then violated her when she was too drunk to resist. The victim was also treated for alcohol poisoning.

Investigators say Bracken denies the allegation, but the Hamilton County Prosecutor's office has charged him with rape, child molestation, criminal deviate conduct, sexual battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
