The Fishers-based Behavior Analysis Center for Autism is making more room for young adult therapy.
Listen:
BACA Prep facility officially dedicated a newly expanded space. Clinical Director Leah McKenzie says it'll help young adults with autism. She says it's a 6,000 square foot renovated space that'll serve clients ages 15 through 19. The facility also has a mock apartment to teach clients living skills.
The space is called the Geof Mohs Achievement Center in memory of student Geoffrey Mohs. It also includes a gym. McKenzie says BACA Prep helps strengthen young lives by addressing employment, leisure and living skills, hygiene and self-help. BACA also serves young adults in Zionsville and Elkhart.
