Four people are in the hospital after a shooting on the city's near west side Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the 500 block of Ransom Street, near 16th and Martin Luther King, Jr. Street, just before 8:00 on a report of several shots fired. Officers found 34-year-old Donald Richardson in an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound. Shortly after that, officers found 18-year-old Brandon Sandifer in a separate apartment who had also been shot. Both men were taken to Wishard Hospital. Richardson was listed in critical condition and Sandifer was listed in fair condition.
Two other men were found shot in the same area. Both 18-year-old Dominique Jones and 35-year-old Tyrone Littlejohn were taken to the hospital in fair condition.
Police believe all four victims were involved in the incident together and a fight may have happened before the shooting. Investigators found a pink ice-cream van that may be connected with the shooting but further information on the van was not released.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
