Mike Pence says if he's elected governor, he'll create jobs by commercializing university research, and finding business leaders to join the "jobs cabinet."
Listen:
The Republican candidate says his Indiana Applied Research Enterprise will tap into university research and expand the life sciences industry. Also, the role of the "jobs cabinet" will be to talk up Indiana as a place to relocate to business leaders overseas and in other states.
Pence says the benefits to the collaboration will help job growth, education, and the state.
