An air conditioning unit with a bad bearing sent smoke through the ventilation system at Danville High School Monday afternoon. 

That set off a fire alarm.  Some classrooms were evacuated, but a spokesman for the Danville Fire Department says the problem was diagnosed quickly and the kids went back inside. 

The spokesman says the damage is minimal.
