The first wave of volunteers is heading town to Florida for Isaac, which is expected to change from a tropical storm to a hurricane.
With Isaac expected to hit land in the next few days, Frank Kominowski with the Red Cross is piloting the Emergency Response Vehicle with a hand full of other volunteers, ready to help with emergency food and shelter.
Kominowski says no one is really sure where the storm will hit at this point, but he says right now, they just need to get to Florida. Then as the path of the storm becomes easier to predict, move to a nearby staging area where they can give food and set up housing for those in need.
