Lawsuit Filed Over Foul Fuel

Damages From BP Are Sought

8/28/2012

BP might be on the hook for selling bad gas to thousands of customers.

More than 2 million gallons of bad fuel was distributed to Northwest Indiana, and has affected cars, trucks, and SUV's across Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Now a class action suit is underway.

One of the attorney's involved in the suit, Will Riley, says people are getting engine repair estimates north of 1-thousand dollars, and so far B-P isn't coughing up any money.

The oil company is tracking complaints, but hasn't offered any restitution yet. Riley says he hopes the lawsuit will bring the truth out, to see if B-P knowingly sold bad gas to thousands of customers, or if they just made a mistake. Either way, Riley says people are owed restitution for any damage that happened because of B-P's bad gas.
