BP Paying Big Bucks For Bad Gas

9/11/2012

Oil giant BP is reimbursing people for any car problems caused by their bad gasoline.

The issue with the bad fuel, caused the fuel injectors to get plugged, leading to about 14-hundred dollars in repairs, but with the proper paperwork, BP will pay you back on the spot. Maggie May works at Tom Wood Ford. She says her service shop hasn't seen a lot of cars with the bad fuel, but from what she has seen, May says it is pretty easy to get the problem fixed.

Once the claims are filed, and the evidence, such as a receipt for the gas with the date on it is sent in, fixing the problem only takes a couple of days. That faulty gas may have impacted thousands of people in Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
