Metro Police have arrested a man for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in the Irvington area last week.

IMPD sex crimes detectives recieved a tip from the Marion County Sex Offender Registry that led them to 31-year-old Donald Wilson Wednesday. Police say Wilson confessed to the rape and was arrested and taken to the Arrestee Processing Center.

Officers were called to 55 South Audobon Road around 7:00 a.m. on September 8 and spoke with the girl who said she was raped. A composite sketch of the suspect was made and distributed by detectives in the area on September 11.
