A Marion County Sheriff's Deputy admitted to downloading and possessing child porn after Greenwood Police say they traced files to his computer. Benjamin Farson, 29, is charged with seven counts of felony child exploitation.

Greenwood Police say their investigation began on September 12th. Investigators found seven online child pornography files, including one still image and six video files. The officers were able to trace the computer to which the files had been downloaded to Farson's computer at his home in the 1700 block of Honey Lane in Greenwood.

Investigators say they went to the Arrestee Processing Center where Farson was working Friday morning to speak with him. They arrested him after they say he admitted to downloading and possessing child porn.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office terminated Farson's employment after his arrest. He had worked for the Marion County Sheriff's Department for three years.
