Central Indiana is set to receive another cancer center.

Community Health Network has announced plans for a $24 million cancer center for it's Community Hospital South campus in Indianapolis.  Hospital President Tony Lennen says construction on the 65,000 square foot building will begin immediately.

Lennen says the new center will offer radiation therapy, along with complimentary therapies such as massage, art and music.

He says they expect the center to open before Thanksgiving 2013.
