An Indianapolis man is dead after crashing into a telephone pole on Michigan Street Sunday morning. IMPD responded shortly after 8 a.m. when James Radford, 38, crashed his SUV into a utility pole.

Radford was extricated from the wreckage and was taken to Wishard, but he was pronounced dead a short time later. Investigators believe Radford was speeding on Michigan Street and lost control. The investigation is ongoing.
