Tamika Catchings scored 25 points to lead the Indiana Fever to the franchise's first WNBA Championship Sunday night at Banker's Life Fieldhouse.

The Fever defeated the defending WNBA Champions Minnesota Lynx 87-78 in game 5 of the championship series. The team let the series 3-1 going into Sunday night's game.

Catchings was named MVP of the Finals. She was also named 2012 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year.
