Indiana Attorney Greg Zoeller was easily re-elected to a second term Tuesday. Zoeller gave the credit to his entire staff, saying he may be the officeholder, but it's the men and women in the office that made the re-election happen.
Zoeller says he will now work with the transition in the Governor's office by being involved with the all the agency heads within state government to make the transition as smooth as possible. Zoeller also is setting the agenda for his office in his second term.
He says the office will take a higher profile with their work with the entire criminal justice system. He says his office serves law enforcement, prosecutors and judges on their appeal, so he will work to fully fund the entire system. He says each segment of the justice system advocates for themselves, but he feels the AG office is in a unique position, especially in a budget year, to work for full funding.
