A former Indiana University football player is accused of robbing a man of 12 grams of marijuana and $795 in cash.

Bloomington Police say Demarlo Belcher, 24, was arrested this morning at his grandfather's home in Fort Wayne. Investigators say Belcher admitted to the robbery October 30th in an apartment building parking lot in the 1000 block of North Walnut Street in Bloomington.

The 21-year-old victim told investigators he planned to sell the marijuana when the would-be buyer pulled a gun on him. Police say the weapon has not been recovered.
