An Indiana college professor has tips for folks who lost social media friends during the presidential election.
Jenny Armentrout is assistant professor of communications studies at St. Mary's College. Armentrout says its all about online etiquette. She says mending fences begins by re-thinking positions, deleting pass comments and even apologizing.
Armentrout says as engaged citizens we have the right to express opinions but not by being rude online. She says it's best to offer feedback and explanations rather than immediately un-friending people.
She says politics, money and religion remain tough topics, but adds people should refrain from expletives and approach posting and communication with a level head.
