A Colts cheerleader is offering to shave her head for leukemia research. "Meagan M." says she's accepting a challenge from Colts mascot "Blue."
"Blue challenged any of us cheerleaders," says Megan. "If he would raise $10,000 for cancer research, he asked if any of us would shave our head at the next game."
She said yes.
"Because of myself having friends who've been affected by cancer," she says. "And family members and my volunteer work, it was just something I absolutely wanted to do."
If Blue gets fans to donate the money at www.colts.com/chuckstrong her long brown locks will be shorn at halftime of the next home game, November 25th against the Buffalo Bills. Meagan joins about 30 Colts players who have gone bald in support of the Head Coach Chuck Pagano. The coach has just begun a second round of chemotherapy in the hope of keeping his leukemia in remission.
