57-year-old Bruce Haidle of Anderson was taken to St. John's Hospital, complaining of pain, cuts and bruises--after his semi rear-ended a car and another big rig in slow traffic on I-69 just north of the Hamilton-Madison County line late this morning.
A second car was hit when the second semi jack-knifed, but there are no other injuries. State Police gave Haidle a ticket for driving too fast to avoid collision.
It took several hours to clear out the backup in the northbound lanes of the interstate.
