The boss of one of the victims in Saturday night's explosion on the south side says John Dion Longworth was a great employee.

Rick Santiago, Co-founder and CEO of Indy Audio Labs, tells our newsgathering partners at RTV6 says Longworth had a warm heart and was a great contributor to the company.  Longworth and his wife Jennifer were killed Saturday night after the explosion which occurred at their neighbor's house in the Richmond Hill neighborhood.

Santiago says Longworth's work helped the company earn a Showcase Award last year from the Consumer Electronics Association.  He says the company will miss Longworth's sense of humor around the office.  "His ability to take sort of a tense situation or a tough problem and just sort of break it up with a little joke or a little sarcasm, that we'll certainly miss."

Santiago says the company is setting up a memorial fund to assist in education scholarships and grants and beautification projects.  The fund is being organized by the Central Indiana Community Foundation.
