The Department of Code Enforcement will order demolitions for the first six of 29 damaged homes in the Richmond Hill subdivision Monday. Four others will be inspected later and are likely to be added ot the list later, bringing the total to 33. "This coming Monday, we're going to be issuing six demo orders for the properties out in Richmond Hill," said Code Enforcement spokesman Al Ensley. "The following Monday, December 3rd, we will be issuing another six demo orders. On December 20th, we will be issuing 17 demo orders."The last four are off limits to the inspectors for now, because they are evidence in the investigation. "We're waiting for the investigation to wrap up," said Ensley. "And then we'll set a timeline for when those need to come down as well."The demolitions are performed by private contractors paid by insurance providers.
