It's been a month since the house explosion that killed two and wounded numerous others in the Richmond Hill subdivision on the southside of Indianapolis.
Listen:
Parts of the neighborhood look almost like a ghost town with boarded up homes and empty lots. Indianapolis Fire Department Spokesperson Rita Burris says investigators are still probing the scene and seeking clues into who may be responsible. The blast affected more than 30 homes and the city continues to demolish those deemed unsafe.
Karen Smithers says the foundation of her home is cracked and two by fours are holding up her den ceiling. She says she and her family are preparing to move out for repairs. Celeste Brown says the entire neighborhood has changed. She says she pretty much knows her neighborhors now and that everyone is more social and they check on each other these days.
