Metro Police are investigating an apparent shooting on the city's near north side early Monday morning.

IMPD Officer Michael Hewitt says officers were called to the 1900 block of Ruckle Street just before 6:00 on a report of multiple shots fired.  Officers found a deceased person in a nearby alley.  Homicide investigators were called to the scene.

Police have no victim or suspect information at this time.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
