When an NFL team has a winning season, the organization tends to get poached, and it's happened to the Colts. Vice President of Football Operations Tom Telesco has been hired as the new General Manager of the San Diego Chargers.
Telesco takes over for A.J. Smith, who was fired after the season. Telesco spent 15 seasons with the Colts in various roles. He was director of player personnel from 2006-2011, and prior to that was director of pro scouting, pro scout and area scout.
The Chargers also fired Head Coach Norv Turner, so they're looking for someone to lead them on the field as well, and Colts Offensive Coordinator Bruce Arians turned many heads as he filled in for Head Coach Chuck Pagano.
Arians has interviews set up in Chicago, Cleveland and Philadelphia. Pagano stated last week concerning Arians "we do not want to lose Bruce Arians". Arians is expected to begin the interview process this week.
