An Indiana-based group that's proposing stronger gun control in light of the Sandy Hook school shooting is planning a major march and rally.
Listen:
One Million Moms for Gun Control Founder Shannon Watts says their goal is to demand stronger gun laws at the federal and state level. Watts says they're not going to "allow inaction." Watts says nothing happened after shootings at Virginia Tech, Aurora, Colorado or Tuscon, Arizona. She says they want a ban on assault weapons, background checks on all firearms purchases and a crack down on concealed weapons.
The rally and march are set for New York City January 21st and Washington, D.C. January 26th. Watts says her group now has dozens of chapters across the nation.
