Alcohol Sales On Sunday Is A Matter Of Economics

The two sides of the Sunday alcohol sales issue are both playing the economics card.
Listen:
John Livengood is the president of the Indiana Association of Beverage Retailers, he says if stores, including supermarkets are able to sell packaged liquor on Sunday, it could end up closing a quarter of the state's retailers.
However, John Elliott is with supermarket chain, Kroger, and he says the state is losing revenue every Sunday when people either cross state lines, or decide not to buy any alcohol.
Both Elliott and Livengood will appear in front of the House committee that is taking up the issue of the prohibition on Sunday sales.
