Student Jumps From Middle School Window

District says the student was not injured.

Washington Township School officials say a student at Northview Middle School jumped from a second-story window Wednesday.

In a statement, the district says the student was taken to an area hospital and was later released with no physical injuries.  The district says administrators responded immediately after the student jumped and that the district follows very strict guidelines to ensure the safety of students.

The district did not say why the student jumped, saying it would not comment further in order to maintain student privacy.
