Winter Storm Blasts Central Indiana
Several schools are delaying or cancelling classes Monday after a rare spring snow storm Sunday. A few schools, including Franklin Township and Washington Township Schools were already closed for spring break Monday.

The National Weather Service reported 5.6 inches of snow had fallen by 10pm. RTV 6 Meterologist Kevin Gregory expects another two to as much as five inches could fall overnight.

Duke Energy reported nearly 1,000 customers without power in Indiana, including 402 in Madison County, at 11pm Sunday. Indianapolis Power and Light did not report any outages at that time.
More than a dozen departing flights from the Indianapolis International Airport were cancelled Sunday night. More than 30 flights scheduled to depart Monday morning have already been cancelled.

The Indiana Department of Transportation reported more than 600 plow trucks in service by 8:30pm Sunday night.
