Gas Prices Going Down Once Again

Gas prices in Central Indiana have gone down, but new EPA regulations could change that.

Gas Buddy dot com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan says prices have gone down substantially and much of that is due to the lack of problems at refineries, which were frequent in 2012.  He says as long as the refineries continue to operate with minimal issues, consumers may continue to see prices in the low-to-mid three dollar range.

DeHaan says the new EPA regulations which require the removal of more sulfur from gasoline will cause prices to bounce back up.  However, he says those regulations won't go into effect for several years and the price jump will happen over time, not overnight.
