Police Investigating Shooting on Near Northeast Side


Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are investigating a shooting that left an undentified man dead on the city's near northeast side Wednesday night.

IMPD Officer Kendale Adams says officers were called to the 3700 block of North Gladstone Avenue around 6:45 on a report of multiple shots being fired.  Officers found the victim inside a vehicle who had been shot.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are searching for potential witnesses in the area.  No suspect information has been released.  The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of family.
