Law enforcement officials have found more dead animals at a Madison County farm.

On Tuesday, officials discovered nearly 100 dead animals and 30 malnourished animals at the farm owned by Carrie and Daniel Ault.  Late Wednesday, another gruesome discovery was made.

Major Brian Bell with the Madison County Sheriff's Department tells RTV6 officials found what they were told was a manure pit containing between 50 to 100 animal carcasses.  That brings the total of dead animals to between 150 and 200.

The living animals were placed in the care of the Animal Protection League Shelter.  Volunteers described the animals as neglected, underfed and caked in manure.

Prosecutors say they're awaiting autopsy results before deciding whether to charge the Aults.
