IDI Launches 'Velocity' Effort
Indianapolis Downtown Inc. wants city residents to help the organization plot the city's future.
IDI has launched what it's calling, "Velocity." It's a five-year strategic action plan for downtown. IDI Vice President Bob Schultz says upon completion of public input, it'll be enacted by the organization and its civic partners. Schultz says the plan includes a public survey that seeks response in six areas: transportation, neighborhoods, arts & culture, livability, public spaces and economic development.
Schultz says this year marks the first year they're opening up the process to the general public. More information is available at indyvelocity.com.
