Police in southern Indiana say a mentally ill woman drowned her two children in a creek last March.

The bodies of 35-year-old Jaime Clutter, 10-year-old Brandon and 6-month-old Katelyn were found in New Albany's Binford Park.  The causes of death were drowning, and hypothermia was a contributing factor.

Police say Jaime Clutter murdered her two children. It's not known if the woman's drowning was intentional or accidental.  An investigation found that Clutter had a serious mental illness, including postpartum depression and psychosis. Police say the woman thought her family was being stalked by "demonic presences."

Police say Clutter's husband was not involved in the deaths.
