Indianpolis Metropolitan Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of raping a 12-year-old girl on June 19.

Police say the girl was walking in the 3100 block of Dr. Andrew J. Brown Drive when the suspect forced her into an alley and sexually assaulted her.  The suspect is described as a tall black male in his late teens to early twenties with a shaved head and thin build.  He was wearing red basketball shorts with a white sleeveless shirt and multi-colored high-top basketball shoes.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect's identity is urged to call the IMPD Child Abuse Office at (317) 327-6876.
