The Ohio River Bridges Project wants to hear from you. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Indiana Department of Transportation will be holding public meetings to give anyone a chance to learn more about this massive construction project impacting both states.
Transportation officials specifically want feedback on measures being considered to lessen the impacts of tolling--especially on low-income and minority populations.
The states are paying for the Bridges Project with a combination of traditional transportation funding (gas tax revenues) and tolls.
The open houses will take place in Clarksville, Indiana Monday, July 22nd, from 4 to 7 p.m. EDT at the Holiday Inn Clarksville, 505 Marriott Dr. and in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday, July 23rd at the Kentucky Center for African-American Heritage, 1701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd
