College Go! Week Urges Hoosier High Schoolers to Plan Ahead Now

Indiana high school students will be getting reminders this week to start getting themselves ready for college.

Indiana's Commission for Higher Education plans a week of school events and webinars aimed at making sure college-bound students are laying the groundwork now, from taking the right classes to reviewing financial aid options.

Commissioner Teresa Lubbers led a kickoff event at Indy's George Washington High School. She says it's important for juniors to visit a college campus as part of their preparation -- something she says many high school students have never done. The commission plans live virtual tours of several Indiana campuses on Thursday.
