PD: Car Hit, Dragged Pedestrian on Indy's West Side

A pedestrian was critically injured and sent to the hospital early Sunday morning after being hit and dragged by a car on the west side of town, police said.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) said sometime after midnight, a car struck a pedestrian near the intersection of West 10th Street and Tibbs Avenue.

Officers said the pedestrian was dragged for a short distance. That person was taken in critical condition to Wishard Hospital.

IMPD has not identified the victim or the driver yet.
