Seven Women Face Multiple Charges in Counterfeiting Scheme
Seven Indianapolis women are charged with corrupt business influence, theft, battery, criminal recklessness and forgery in an alleged shoplifting and counterfeiting scheme.
The Marion County Prosecutor's office says they called themselves the "Get Money Team." The battery charges result from an assault on a retail sales clerk who asked to look into a bag after a store security system sounded.
Two suspects are still being sought. Five are in custody: Francheska McGraw, Apiphany Porter, Kenya Matthews, Latoya McGill and Veronica Perry.
