Police Look For One More Suspect In Home Invasions
IMPD outlines charges against 10 suspects who are jailed
Ten people have now been charged with a pair of home invasion robberies in Indianapolis, and police are still looking for one additional suspect.
Seven of the people arrested are charged with an October 24th home invasion on North Spring Mill Road, while the other three are accused of a break-in October 29th on East 79th Street. "To find people in the middle of the night to be vulnerable, to be susceptible to the whims of these individuals who were arrested and allegedly charged with these offenses is unacceptable," said IMPD Chief Rick Hite.
In the Spring Mill Road incident, two men - Demetre Brown and Taiwan Lundy - are charged with the break-in, robbery, and sexual assault while two men and three women are charged with helping them. In the 79th Street case, all three suspects who are in custody are accused of participating in the robbery and rape. The investigation is not over. "Whether any of the individuals charged in either incident overlap, that is a matter of an ongoing investigation," said Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry.
Police are still looking for one more suspect. "His name is Adrian Anthony," said William Lorah, Deputy Chief of Investigations for IMPD. "He is wanted on a resisting charge currently, and we would also like to talk to him in regards to his possible involvement as a person of interest in these two cases."
