Grissom Air Reserve Base Touts Economic Impact for Indiana

Grissom Air Reserve Base officials are touting the economic impact the base makes on the state.
The 434th Air Refueling Wing announced Grissom had a more than $118 million economic impact on the local economy for fiscal year 2013. Grissom employs nearly 2,600 workers and the base contributed more than $70 million in military and civilian payroll last year.
Grissom houses the 434th along with three Army Reserve Units and a Marine Corps communication detachment.
