A man charged with 34 felony counts related to a violent home robbery has been charged with as many as 40 more crimes related to a different incident.

Michael Pugh, 21, was already in police custody in connection with a crime spree at a home near 79th Street and College Avenue, but he now faces charges related to a Spring Mill Road crime.

Ten people have been in police custody on charges for either the 79th Street or the Spring Mill Road robberies, but Pugh is the first defendant to be charged in both crimes, officials said.

Specific information about Pugh's approximately 40 new charges in the Spring Mill case has not been released.

For his suspected role in the 79th Street case, Pugh has been charged with:

  • 12 counts of criminal deviate conduct
  • Four counts of rape
  • Three counts of criminal confinement
  • Three counts of car jacking
  • Three counts of robbery
  • Three counts of battery
  • Two counts of intimidation
  • Two counts of attempted criminal deviate conduct
  • One count of aggravated battery

The charges stem from a crime spree during which several men got into a family's home through an unsecured back door, demanded phones, cash, car keys and jewelry, and raped one woman and shot and sexually assaulted another.

In the Spring Mill case, police said the suspects tied up a couple and assaulted them before ransacking their home.

An 11th suspect, Anthony Adrian, is still wanted in connection with the 79th Street incident.
